Order Modifications and Cancellations

If you need to modify or cancel your order for whatever reason, please do so within 3 business days of placing your order. Our craftsmen will begin work on your piece shortly after receiving your order.

Orders cancelled after this 3 business day window are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
Orders modified after this 3 business day window may require additional charges, depending on whether the changes affect the progression of work on your piece. This may also delay the completion of, and delivery of your piece.

Shipping Damage

We package all of our shipments exceptional care to reduce the possibility of damage. Still, accidents happen – and even the best packaging cannot prevent all damage from occuring. When a piece arrives damaged, we may ask for photos or a description of the damage to asisst us in resolving the problem. We will make a determination to repair or replace the piece.

Delivery Dates and Completion Times

The 'completion time' and 'delivery times' listed on our website are good-faith estimates. Four times out of five, our pieces are completed and delivered on time (or even a bit early), however, there are a number of circumstances that can potentially delay a delivery including, but not limited to: complexity of a custom order; availability of hardwood; unexpected/extended drying times; the fact our Amish craftsman will not comprise quality; and an act of God.

However, please let us know if there is an important holiday or event we should be aware of when you place your order, and we will do our best to work with you in assuring a timely delivery.

Shipping to Canada

Harmony Cedar, over the past 10 years, has shipped hundreds of orders to Canada. This includes shipments of wood samples and cedar chests via UPS; dining room sets and other oversized furniture via common carrier; and when needed, we use our personal delivery service. Harmony Cedar owns a delivery trailer and works with experienced drivers who know how to pack, handle, document and deliver furniture to Canada. As a member of the River Heights Chamber of Commerce, Harmony Cedar is able to obtain verification of Certificate of Origin paperwork needed for NAFTA certification.
